From the cockpit to the keyboard
Conrad's early foray into creative writing saw him enter his first competition at the age of sixteen. While he spent the following decade in the skies as a professional airline pilot, the stories never stopped tugging at his uniform sleeve.
Hauling paperbacks from airport bookshops, Conrad would read and write late into the night in hotel rooms around the world. By combining his rich life experiences with an original artistic flair, those endless horizons steadily made their way into the vivid landscapes of his stories.
A literature and creative writing aficionado, Conrad decided to swap his wings for words and honed his skills at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. The academic stint polished his craft, finally turning his penchant for writing into a full-fledged career.
Conrad draws inspiration from literary giants such as Michael Ende, Patricia Highsmith, Jeffery Deaver, Lee Child, Jo Nesbø, Stephen King, James Patterson, Candice Fox and many more. Conrad's inquisitive nature and wild imagination propel his characters to the brink of possibility as he masterfully weaves a tapestry of suspense, thrills and exhilarating twists.
With his unmatched storytelling prowess, Conrad entertains by immersing readers in page-turning tales full of mystery and murder.
Originally from Scandinavia, after traveling the world and walking the path of his characters, Conrad settled in Australia. As a dedicated husband and father of two, Conrad shares his storytelling gift with his family, delighting them with tales that rival his literary creations.
